The Healthier Workforce Center of the Midwest (HWC) at the University of Iowa and Washington University is pleased to announce the availability of funds for New Investigator and Student pilot projects. For the very first time, Dr. Diane Rohlman and Dr. Ahmed Ismail conducted a meeting with Menoufia University partners using the Zoom video conferencing platform on Monday, May 14, 2018. This meeting was held in order to commence the second round of EGAD-funded pilot projects.
Congratulations to Dr. Maya Ramaswamy, who earned her PhD in Occupational and Environmental Health at the College of Public Health Graduation Ceremony on May 11, 2018. Her dissertation is entitled "Assessing Occupational Health among Transitional Agricultural Workforces: A Mixed Methods Study among U.S.
Dr. Diane Rohlman has been working with investigators from Menoufia University in Egypt and other partners to examine the effects of pesticide exposure on the developing adolescent brain.
