I am a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar in the department of Occupational and Environmental Health. My area of expertise is the assessment, identification of mechanisms, and prevention of occupational and environmental health hazards. My primary interest is to characterize the neurotoxicity of pesticides among pesticide applicators. This experiences extends back to work in my PhD thesis, in which I examined the health effects of exposure of Egyptian adolescent pesticide applicators to organophosphorus compounds.
